Nasal congestion is the main reason for snoring, inhaling the steam helps to reduce congestion and get rid of snoring. Pour hot boiling water in a large bowl and add few drops of eucalyptus essential oil or tea tree essential oil, Hold a towel over your head and inhale the steam deeply through your nose for 10 minutes.
Garlic has contains anti-inflammatory property helps reduce inflammation in the respiratory system and make your breathing easier when you sleep and prevents snoring. Eat daily 2 to 3 cloves of garlic on an empty stomach followed by a glass of water.
Turmeric has contains a powerful antiseptic and antibiotic agent, that can help to treat inflammation and help reduce heavy snoring. Mix turmeric powder to a glass of warm milk and drink it before going to bed. This drink not only treats your snoring but also boost your immune system.
4. Lavender Oil
Lavender oil has a soothing, sedative and relaxing nature that prevent muscle obstruction in the throat and help to deal with snoring. Add a few drops of lavender oil into the diffuser before going to bed.
5. Throat Exercises
Throat exercises help to strengthen the muscles to prevent blocked or narrowed airways in your nose, mouth or throat. Doing this exercise help to reduce snoring. Blow a balloon using deep breaths without taking it out of your mouth for as long as possible, While doing this exercise, make sure to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, repeat this exercise 5 times daily.
