For healthy and strong hair we need to pay more attention to how we are treating our hair? As we all are doing so many things and applying hair care products for getting healthy, strong and shiny hair. But some hair care tips or techniques of hair treatment might not be right. And it makes your hair damage and inhealthy. In this article, I will share some most common hair care mistakes that everyone making and they were very harmful to our hair.

1. Avoid Backcombing

Most of the women resort to combing their hair in the opposite direction on order of front the same in a voluminous manner. When backcombing is practiced more often, hair cuticles experience breakage. So it is very good to avoid backcombing frequently. Backcombing is the most common hair mistake that we mostly do.

2. Washing your Hair too Often/not Often Enough

The hair washing frequency depends on individual factors. It depends on our hair type and the quality of the water we are using. If you have oily hair then it is advisable to wash your hair once every 1-2 days.

3. Never Mix Heat And Cold

Using straightener and curler out while your hair is wet can harm your hair. Using heat over the cold strands make your hair weak and breaking them up further. before Applying any hot hair tools on hair let them dry completely.

4. Drying your Hair with a Towel

After washing your hair, blot it gently from roots to end with a cotton towel. Don’t bind the towel around your head it could damage your hair follicles.

5. Daily Blow Drying

Daily blow drying is become our daily life routine because of our hectic life timelines and everyday working habits, we feel that the best we to drying out hair quickly is blow dryer. Daily blow drying removes the surface water of our hair and causes our hair cuticles to become rigid, dry and brittle. So it’s good to use dry occasionally not on daily for healthy hair.

6. Split Ends

Hair care mistakes split the ends of hair strands making them look shabby and neglected. Splits end take a lot of efforts to make them healthy looking again. The proven remedy is to apply argan oil on the split ends to soften then and also trimming it regularly is a good way to get rid of them.

7. Sleeping With Your Hair Down

Always braid your hair before going to bed if your hair is long or medium. This will prevent it from becoming frizzy.
