How To Hide Dark Circles With Makeup
Gentle Wash the eye area first and make sure it’s dry and clean of any oil. And Apply eye cream. If possible, don’t skip this on your daily regimen. It helps to moisturize and brighten the skin underneath. Always choose a moisturizer that has skin lightening and repair properties.
Dark circles are mainly in blue or gray in color. To cover them we need to apply a color that’s opposite in the color wheel, like peach or orange. Always choose a concealer shade that is 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone. So it actually hides your dark circles. Apply the concealer in an upside-down triangle, low enough under the eyes to completely cover the area.
3. Blend the Concealer
If you don’t wear foundation, choose a concealer that’s the same color as your skin tone. Use the sponge to blend the edges of the concealer area and watch the peach/orange color disappear. Be gentle around your eyes area.
This step is optional if you feel like you can still see your dark circles, you may want to brighten your under eyes with a lighter concealer. Choose concealer color that is one shade lighter than your skin tone so it brightens the under-eye area. Just take a little amount of concealer and dab it around the eye and blend it by using your finger of a makeup sponge.
5. Setting Powder And Reduce Dark Circles
If you have dry skin, you can skip this step or just use a matte eyeshadow that is two shades lighter than your skin tone. Apply a thin layer of powder with the help of flat thin sponge in your T zone and also in your under eyes. It will help you to set the makeup last long and prevent it from creasing easily.
